The Superbowl of scholars event is back for a fourth year.

The Power Talk Series is a two day symposium created by Peabody award winner, Carl Nelson, host of “The Carl Nelson Show” which airs Monday-Friday 4:00pm-7:00pm EST on Radio One’s heritage station WOL 1450 and 95.9 FM.


The series brings gifted speakers and scholars together to educate and inspire black people. They speak to the future of the community and our cultural concerns. This year’s honoree is Social Activist Dick Gregory.
